major Dig
I think i heard some of your stuff before, being linked into another forum once upon a time ;p i dunno.
this is pretty sick. nuff said, really ;D
Wow thanks so much!
sure.
nice use of Sytrus presets there. Id give a go at trying to make them sound a little less like straight out of the arp and plucked sections. Tho that's just my standpoint as an FL freak.
it's a fairly straightforward track, id watch the levels here and there. other than that it sounds like intentional work to me.
so, gj.
thx for the review
real snazzy
The drum track at the beginning sort of sounds like someone beatboxing, I was real skeptical when the toms came in, but the background melodies that came in fixed that.
A real good relaxing tune, I could see this being used in a menu of some game or in an item shop sequence or something along those lines.
gj!
Lolz, yea I agree, the beginning is a lil' weird.^^
Thx for the review!
Certainly not polished
Well, it's certainly very first or second try. I recommend using something other than 808 sounds, or FL template sounds.
Stretch out on google and look up some free samples. This track could stay exactly as it is but still benefit greatly from using more solid samples.
Or, if you were to stay with these samples, experiment with effects and mastering to make it sound a little less clunky and a little more polished and original.
Thanks for your advice! I will try next time to put more effort into the song and try to make my next track more refined.
Interesting
Not quite my cup of tea. I like the beat. The instrument choice makes it sound like it was made with a 15 year old Yamaha keyboard. The mix was pretty good, nothing was glaring or too loud. or too quiet or really anything. mix was spot on.
Keep it up ;]
thanks. im really new so im kind of just testing some things =] but your absolutely right.
I make music, I've tried flash myself and failed. So for now I'll stick to music. I really want to score video games as a career, so this place may be a good start methinks ;]
